I began contributing to the DeFi ecosystem around 2018-2019 by creating educational materials to improve onboarding for new users, covering topics such as staking, governance, and wallet onboarding. Over time, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Origin team while also contributing to various DAOs, including Ampleforth, Sperax, Seamless, and Uniswap. Additionally, I served as the Director of Technology and Social Media Manager at the Blockchain Education Network, where I spearheaded collegiate onboarding programs, helping university clubs explore and integrate emerging DeFi protocols.
Since then, my focus has remained on DAO governance, working to drive deeper community engagement and involvement in decision-making processes. Contributing to Origin’s ecosystem has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I’m even more excited for what’s ahead!
- Do you have any cores values you stick to when voting?
My core principle when participating in governance is simple: if a proposal is a net positive for the entire protocol—including token holders, the underlying infrastructure, and the enablement of future product releases and discussions—I will vote in favor. However, for a proposal to meet this standard, I expect thorough deliberation not only from core team members but also from the broader community. This approach helps mitigate centralized team influence while ensuring the community’s voice is both recognized and valued.
